At this time of Thanksgiving we remember how the Wampanoag Indians accepted the Pilgrims and helped them survive their first winter in a new land. Together they celebrated the new harvest at the first Thanksgiving. May we remember that all that we have is your gift and that we are called to welcome and accept all who are in need. May we like the Wampanoag open our doors and hearts to migrants and remember that they are our sisters and brothers in your grace.
