Advocacy & Outreach Scavenger Hunt

This past spring semester, the CCAO interns and volunteers competed in a city-wide scavenger hunt. They collected points throughout the semester for all of the advocacy work they did in the office and for experiencing sights and events unique to the Washington, D.C. area.

The Scavenger Hunt was a great way for us to keep track of the enormous amount of work being done in the office and provided a framework for our interns and volunteers to immerse themselves in D.C. culture.

During the 2011 spring semester, each team had an additional member- Frs. Joe McSweeney and Tom Glennon participated in the scavenger hunt from Nebraska through email, phone calls and more!

We had two teams competing this semester:

social justice internship, catholic advocacy work, volunteer opportunity

volunteer and Washington, D.C., internships in d.c., catholic volunteer work
