Spring 2011 Scavenger Hunt

  1. Email jespina@columban.org when you complete items from the list
  2. Submit a photo to receive points for anything that happens outside of the office,
  3. Bonus points cab be earned by:
    • Submitting a photo of something completed in the office
    • Photos that feature more than one team member
    • Creative photos
  4. 4. To receive points, items must be completed between 1/21/11 and 4/21/11

In the CCAO

  • Write a Letter from the CCAO- 4
  • Attend a Protest or Rally- 3
  • Write an Action Alert for the CCAO- 2
  • Make an appointment with a Congressional Staffer- 2
  • Attend a meeting with a Congressional staffer- 2
  • Attend a Congressional Hearing or Briefing- 3
  • Attend a working group meeting- 1
  • Meet a Senator/Representative- 4

Only in DC

  • Visit the Library of Congress and get a library card- 3
  • Visit the Supreme Court- 2
  • Visit the National Archives-2
  • Visit the White House- 3
  • Find Acorn Park in Silver Spring (the original location of the silver spring)- 4
  • Visit the National Zoo- 3
  • Find an embassy of a Columban country – 4
  • Visit the United Methodist Building: many events hosted and attended by faith-based advocacy groups are held here.- 3

  • Write an article for Columban Mission-3
  • Become a Facebook Fan- 1
    • Write a posting for Facebook- 2
  • Write a blog entry- 3
  • Invite friends to support Columban mission- Pedaling to Live- 3
  • Invite friends to learn about mission by liking the CCAO on Facebook- 2
  • Invite a friend to participate in a CCAO Internship, exposure trip, retreat, or volunteer experience- 3
  • Help staff a table at an internship fair, or other invitation event- 4

Apply your experience
