It is accomplished

You have loved us to the end, even to accepting death on a cross. You have poured out your blood for us, and glorified the Father by finishing all the work you had been given to do, and how you had been given to do, and how you yearned to do it! Now it is accomplished.

Glory and praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ!
For you accomplished the Father’s will
For the sake of the world!

Glory and praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ!
For you have called us to follow you
And share in your work of salvation.
However feeble our efforts may be
With loving hearts may we follow you
So that your will for the world
Can be accomplished through us.

Glory and praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ!
You have accomplished our salvation
By shedding your blood on the Cross!
Lord, may our praises never cease
You accomplished all to bring us peace!
