The US-China Catholic Association is offering two tours of China in 2019. There will be a pilgrimage to witness China's Catholics and their faith in April of 2019 and a study tour which allows you to experience China in May 2019. See the information about both tours below.
A Catholic Pilgrimage in a Changing China – April 23 - May 2, 2019
In April of 2019 the US-China Catholic Association will sponsor a unique opportunity to reflect on the witness of China’s Catholics to their faith, both in history and in contemporary society. Participants will also visit famous cultural and historical sites in Beijing, Taiyuan (Shanxi Province), Hengsui, Xian Xian, and Tianjin. At each step of the way, commentary will be provided by renowned Catholic scholar Dr. Anthony Clark, author of China's Saints and Heaven in Conflict: Franciscans and the Boxer Uprising in Shanxi. Fr. Hung Nguyen, pastor of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Seattle, will lead opportunities for prayer and Eucharist.

A Catholic Study Tour of Chinas West and South – May 11-26, 2019
In May of 2019 the US-China Catholic Association will sponsor a unique opportunity to experience China’s ultra-modern cities, its great centers of education, and its ancient heartland, as well as villages where some of the minority groups that participate in the cultural mix of China have lived for centuries. From cosmopolitan Hong Kong to ancient Xi'an to a Tibetan Catholic village, study tour participants will learn from Chinese Catholics who share in and contribute to the life of their local communities. The study tour will be led by Fr. Michael Agliardo, director of the USCCA and a research scholar of the department of sociology at Santa Clara University.
