One of the most popular ways to ensure that your desire to help others is continued after your death is a legacy gift to the Columban Fathers.

The Work of Mission Never Ends
A legacy gift to the Columban Fathers builds a future for Columban Mission
Christ sends His followers out to the poor, the oppressed and those who suffer today, and the Columban Fathers live out this Mission in a particularly challenging way. The spiritual and material support of thousands of people like you is vital for the Columban Mission, in order to effectively bring Good News to the powerless and the suffering. “I tell you,” Jesus says, “whatever you did for one of these least brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me..” (Matthew 25: 40) You can help us to better serve Christ in those going through hard times by making a Legacy Gift.
We’ve established the Columban Legacy Society in order to recognize and thank those who have partnered with us by making a Legacy Gift. Legacy Society members include those who have indicated in writing that they have made provisions for the Columban Fathers in their estate plans or who have a charitable Gift Annuity with us. Those who remember the Columban Fathers in their wills, bequests and other estate gifts such as life insurance, annuities and remainder trusts are vital to preserving the future of the work of Columbans around the world.
In addition to being a meaningful gift to the Missionary Society of St. Columban, “planned gifts” help to reduce or eliminate taxes on capital gains and federal estate taxes. Please check with your financial planner or accountant for more details on arranging for a planned gift and the personal benefits associated with that charitable gift.
If you have made arrangements for a gift to the Missionary Society of St. Columban in your estate plan and wish to be listed as a member of the Legacy Society or would like to speak to someone about a possible gift, please contact Fr. Mike Dodd at firstname.lastname@example.org
