Lord Jesus, merciful Savior of the world, we humbly beseech You by Your Most Sacred Heart, that all the straying sheep may turn to You, the Shepherd and Bishop of their souls: Who live and reign world without end. Amen.

Dear Sacred Heart of Jesus, I love You so much and I give You my heart. Help me to love God. Help me to love my neighbor as a child of God. Help me to love myself as a child of God. Amen

September 6, 2016

On my knees before the great multitude of heavenly witnesses, I offer myself soul and body to You, Eternal Spirit of God. I adore the brightness of Your purity, the unerring keenness of Your justice, and the might of Your love. You are the Strength and Light of my soul. In You I live and move and am. I desire never to grieve You by unfaithfulness to grace, and I pray with all my heart to be kept from the smallest sin against You. Mercifully guard my every thought and grant that I may always watch for Your light and listen to Your voice and follow Your gracious inspirations. I cling to You and give myself to You and ask You by Your compassion to watch over me in my weakness. Holding the pierced Feet of Jesus and looking at His Five Wounds and trusting in His Precious Blood and adoring His opened Side and stricken Heart, I implore Your Adorable Spirit, helper of my infirmity, so to keep me in Your grace that I may never sin against You. Give me grace O Holy Ghost, Spirit of the Father and the Son, to say to You always and everywhere, "Speak Lord, for Your servant hears." Amen.

Oh Immaculate Heart of Mary, I give you my heart. I want to love you. I want to love Jesus, the Father, the Holy Spirit, and this world through your holy heart. My dear mother, I place myself in your heart, I know you will care for me in all my needs. I give myself to you, Mary, my mother. I love you so much! Amen

Lord,
 Jesus
 Christ,
Carpenter
of
Nazareth,
 You
were
 a
worker
 as
I
am.
 Give
 me,
and
 all
 workers,
 the
privilege
 To
 work
as
You
did,

 so
 that
everything
we
do
 will
 be
 to
 the
greater
glory
of
God,

 and
the
benefit
of
our
fellow
men.

 May
Your
 kingdom
 come
into
our
 offices,

 our
factories
 and
 shops,

 into
 our
homes
and
 into
our
 streets.
 Give
 us
this
day
a
living
wage,

 so
 that
we
may
be
able
to
keep
Your
 law.
 May
 we
earn
 it
without
envy
or
injustice.

 To
us
 who
labor
and
are
heavily
 burdened, send
speedily

 the
 refreshment
 of
Your
love.
 May
 we
 never
 sin
 against
You.

 Show
 us
 Your
 way to
 work,

 and
 when
our
work
here
 is
 done,

 may
we,
with
 all
 our
 fellow
 workers,

 rest
 in
 peace.
 Amen.

O Jesus Christ, I acknowledge You as universal King. All that has been made, has been created for You. Exercise all Your rights over me. I renew my baptismal vows, renouncing Satan, his pomps and his works; and I promise to live as a good Christian. In particular I pledge myself to labor, to the best of my ability, for the triumph of the rights of God and Your Church. Divine Heart of Jesus, to You I offer my poor services, laboring that all hearts may acknowledge Your Sacred Kingship, and that the reign of Your peace be established throughout the whole universe. Amen.

Lord, give us all the courage we need to go the way you shepherd us, that when you call we may go unfrightened. If you bid us come to you across the waters, that we may not be frightened as we go. And if you bid us climb the hill, may we not notice that it is a hill, mindful only of the happiness of your company. You made us for yourself, that we should travel with you and see you at last in your unveiled beauty in the abiding city, where you are light and happiness and endless home.

Illness and age can take their toll and energy is depleted. That means that good things may still be done but perhaps a bit slow and not as great as one may wish. Give me the insight to accept limitations while still maintaining the inner spark of life and love. Amen – Columban Fr. John Comiskey

Christ, the only-begotten Son of the unbegotten Father, who this day was slain for us, the innocent for the ungodly, remember the price of Your Blood and blot out the sins of all Your people; and as You are pleased to endure for us reproaches, spitting, bonds, blows, the scourge, the Cross, the nails, the bitter cup, death, the spear, and lastly burial, save us wretched ones, for whom You suffered this, the infinite blessedness of the heavenly kingdom, that we who bow down in reverence for Your Passion may be raised up to things heavenly in the joys of Your resurrection. Amen.

Come, O blessed Savior, and nourish my soul with heavenly Food, the Food which contains every sweetness and every delight. Come, Bread of Angels, and satisfy the hunger of my soul. Come, glowing Furnace of Charity and enkindle in my heart the flame of divine love. Come, Light of the World, and enlighten the darkness of my mind. Come, King of Kings, and make me obedient to your holy will. Come, loving Savior, and make me meek and humble. Come, Friend of the Sick, and heal the infirmities of my body and the weakness of my soul. Come, Good Shepherd, my God and my All, and take me to yourself. O most holy Mother, Mary Immaculate, prepare my heart to receive my Savior.

August 29, 2016

Come, Holy Spirit Replace the tension within us with a holy relaxation. Replace the turbulence within us with a sacred calm. Replace the anxiety within us with a quiet confidence. Replace the fear within us with a strong faith. Replace the bitterness within us with the sweetness of grace. Replace the darkness within us with a gentle light. Replace the coldness within us with a loving warmth. Replace the night within us with your light. Replace the winter within us with your spring. Straighten our crookedness. Fill our emptiness. Dull the edge of our pride. Sharpen the edge of our humility. Light the fires of our love. Quench the flames of our lust. Let us see ourselves as you see us That we may see You. Amen.

August 28, 2016

Christ Jesus, I acknowledge You King of the universe. All that has been created has been made for You. Make full use of Your rights over me. I renew the promises I made in Baptism, when I renounced Satan and all his pomps and works, and I promise to live a good Christian life and to do all in my power to procure the triumph of the rights of God and Your Church. Divine Heart of Jesus, I offer you my efforts in order to obtain that all hearts may acknowledge your Sacred Royalty, and that thus the Kingdom of Your peace may be established throughout the universe. August 27, 2016

O my Divine Saviour, Transform me into Yourself. May my hands be the hands of Jesus. Grant that every faculty of my body May serve only to glorify You. Above all, Transform my soul and all its powers So that my memory, will and affection May be the memory, will and affections Of Jesus. I pray for You To destroy in me All that is not of You. Grant that I may live But in You, by You and for You, So that I may truly say, With St. Paul, "I live - now not I - but Christ lives in me".

August 26, 2016

Look down upon me, good and gentle Jesus, While before Your face I humbly kneel And with burning soul, pray and beseech You, To fix deep in my heart, Lively sentiments of faith, hope and charity, True contrition for my sins And a firm purpose of amendment. While I contemplate with great love and tender pity, Thy five most precious wounds, Pondering over them within me, And calling to mind the words that David, Your prophet, said of You , my Jesus, "They have pierced My hands and feet, They have numbered all my bones."

August 25, 2016

O most holy, O most benign, O noble and glorious Virgin Mary, who was worthy to bear in Your sacred womb the Creator of all, I humbly beseech you, to intercede with Him for me, a sinner; that whatsoever, by ignorance or neglect, by accident or irreverence, I have left undone, or have done amiss, in this unspeakably holy Sacrifice, may be pardoned through thy prayers to the same our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who with the Father and the Holy Ghost live and reign world without end. Amen.
