Columban Daily Prayer

God of hope and renewal, as we approach
the end of another liturgical year,
prepare our hearts for the new beginnings
that await us in Advent.
Help us to reflect on the year that has passed
with gratitude for Your faithfulness and growth
in wisdom from our experiences.
Clear away anything in our lives that hinders
our relationship with You, and fill us
with eager anticipation for the coming celebration
of Your Son's birth.
May we enter this sacred season with hearts
ready to receive the Christ child anew.
