O God, who gladdens us with the yearly festival
of blessed Cecilia, Your virgin and martyr,
grant that we who honor her during the Holy Mass,
may also follow the example of her godly life.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
Who lives and reigns with You
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God,
world without end.
