O God, who on this day, called blessed Henry
Your confessor from his earthly throne to an eternal kingdom:
We humbly ask You, that by the assistance of Your grace,
he was proof against all the temptations of the world,
so we may follow his example in withstanding
all the flatteries of this world,
and serve You with clean hearts.
Through Christ our Lord.
St Henry, pray for us that we will live a life of holiness
and inherit eternal happiness among the angels and saints.
Amen.
