Heavenly Father, on this Fourth of July,
we are filled with gratitude for the blessings
You have bestowed upon our nation.
We thank You for the gift of freedom, which allows us
to exercise our faith, pursue our dreams, and embrace
the dignity of every person.
Lord Jesus, You taught us to love one another as You love us.
Help us to heal the divisions in our society
and to build bridges of understanding and compassion.
Grant us the grace to see the face of Christ
in every person we encounter, regardless of their race,
nationality, or background.
May our nation be a beacon of hope,
justice, equality, and peace.
May we always work tirelessly for the betterment
of our society and the glory of Your name.
