Heavenly Father, on this weekend,
when we rest from our usual labors,
we pray for all who shoulder the tasks
of human labor: in the shops, factories and offices,
in the professions, and in family living.
May You give us all rest and lift our burdens.
Keep us safe in our workplaces and schools
during this time of COVID-19.
Help us to trust You and to let You help us.
May Your peace fall over us.
May Your power lift us up.
May Your Holy spirit teach us
though this life in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
