O God, Who in the heart of the holy virgin Gertrude
provided for Yourself a dwelling well-pleasing to You:
through her merits and intercession, in Your mercy,
wash away the stains from our hearts,
and grant that we may enjoy fellowship with her.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
Who lives and reigns with You
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God,
world without end.
