Gracious God, as we celebrate Labor Day,
we lift our hearts in thanks for the gift of work
and the opportunities it brings to grow, contribute,
and provide for ourselves and our families.
Bless those who toil in all fields with strength,
perseverance, and fair pay.
May their efforts be a source of fulfillment
and a means to build a better world for all.
Guide employers to lead with compassion and justice,
valuing the well-being of their workers and fostering
environments of respect and collaboration.
Let us also remember those who face challenges
in finding employment.
May they receive hope, support, and opportunities
to use their skills.
We ask this through the intercession
of Saint Joseph the Worker,
who understood the sanctity of labor.
May our work, like his, contribute
to the unfolding of Your divine plan.
