Lord, on this Veterans Day we come before you
with hearts filled with gratitude and reverence
for those who have served our nation
in times of peace and in times of conflict.
Bless, O Lord, all our veterans, both living and departed.
Grant them Your peace and strength.
May they find comfort in Your loving embrace
and experience Your healing grace for any wounds,
seen and unseen, that they carry from their service.
We ask this through Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
