Let holy Luke, Your Evangelist,
we beseech You, O Lord,
intercede for us,
who for the glory of Your name
ever bore in his body the mortification of the Cross.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
Who lives and reigns with You
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, world without end.
