Columban Daily Prayer

God of peace, in a world that never stops moving,
we come to You weary and burdened.
Jesus promised that his yoke is easy and his burden light.
Teach us to find rest in You, not in endless activity or achievement.
Help us distinguish between the burdens You give us
and those we unnecessarily take upon ourselves.
Grant us wisdom to know when to work and when to rest,
and the grace to always remain centered in Your love and peace.
