Lord, we marvel at the authority with which You speak.
Even the unclean spirits obey You.
We ask You today to speak Your Word of power over our hearts.
Silence the voices of anxiety, pride, and greed that cry out within us.
Let Your peace reign in our souls, and grant us the grace
to listen to Your voice with a heart that is ready to obey and follow.
