Compassionate Father, open our eyes to those suffering around us.
Give us hearts that do not turn away from another person’s pain.
When we encounter someone who is burdened,
help us respond with kindness rather than judgment.
Give us courage to defend dignity, patience to listen,
and generosity to help where we can.
May our faith never remain only words,
but become compassionate action that brings healing,
dignity, and hope to those in need.
Amen.
