Lord Jesus, You transformed the Cross from an instrument
of suffering into a sign of redemption and love.
Teach us, as Saint Paul of the Cross taught,
to remain close to You in times of difficulty.
When suffering enters our lives, help us not to lose hope.
Give us compassion for those carrying heavy burdens
and make us willing to accompany them.
May the Cross remind us that no suffering offered in love
is ever meaningless in Your sight.
Amen.
