Gracious God, your Son taught us
that the kingdom of heaven belongs to those
who become like little children.
In this Advent season, help us reclaim
the wonder and trust of childhood faith.
Strip away our cynicism and doubt.
Teach us to approach You with simple confidence,
knowing that You are our loving Father
who desires only our good.
May we learn to depend on You completely,
trusting in Your providence and rejoicing in Your care for us.
Amen.
