Merciful God, today I remember those who have gone before.
Grant eternal rest to my loved ones who have died,
and to all the souls in purgatory awaiting
the fullness of your mercy.
Comfort those who grieve, and remind me
that death is not the end but a doorway into your presence.
May I live this day mindful of eternity, treasuring what truly lasts.
