Merciful God,
We thank You for the witness of Saints John de Brébeuf,
Isaac Jogues, and their companions, who gave themselves
generously to the mission of the Gospel.
Give us their courage, perseverance, and love for those they served.
Help missionaries everywhere remain faithful when their work
is difficult or misunderstood.
Teach us to cross the boundaries that divide people
and to recognize Christ in every culture and community.
May missionary love overcome fear and bring hope.
Amen.
