O God, who filled Saint John of God
with a burning love for the poor and the sick,
grant us, through his intercession,
a share in his compassionate heart.
May we, like him, dedicate our lives
to serving those in need, and seeing Christ
in every person we encounter.
Inspire us to acts of charity and mercy,
that we may follow his example of selfless love
and glorify Your holy name.
Amen.
