Lord God, you inspired Saint Nicholas
to give generously and secretly to those in need.
Kindle in our hearts that same spirit of selfless charity.
Help us see Christ in the poor, the forgotten, and the struggling.
Give us creative love that finds ways to help
without seeking recognition or reward.
Teach us that true generosity flows
from a heart transformed by your grace,
and that in giving to others, we give to Christ himself
who came among us in poverty and humility.
Amen.
