O almighty God who in Your unspeakable providence
chose Blessed Hilda to be Your instrument
in bringing together diverse elements,
that where there was discord and division
her labors brought harmony and unity,
grant we ask You that she, whom we venerate
as our patroness, may be our intercessor in Heaven.
