O God, the example and protection of Your saints,
strengthen us in our own weakness,
and enable us to walk in the path of salvation.
May we pay fitting honor to the merits
of the blessed abbot St. William of Vercelli,
so that he may intercede for us and lead us
in his own footsteps.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.
