God of everlasting love, You gave St. Lawrence
the courage to serve the poor with compassion
and to remain faithful even unto death.
Teach us to recognize Christ in those who are forgotten,
lonely, or in need.
May every act of kindness become a living witness
to the Gospel and every sacrifice draw us closer
to Your Sacred Heart.
Fill us with the joyful confidence that nothing
can separate us from Your love.
