Jesus, You welcomed the woman
whom others condemned.
You saw her tears and forgave her sin.
May we never judge by appearances,
but love as You love.
Give us compassion that reaches the forgotten,
and hearts ready to be forgiven and to forgive.
Let mercy be our measure and our gift.
