Merciful God, You gave Saint Pius of Pietrelcina
a deep love for prayer, the Eucharist, reconciliation,
and souls in need of Your mercy.
Help me approach the Sacrament of Reconciliation
with humility and confidence.
Heal the places within me that I hide from You,
and teach me to forgive as I have been forgiven.
May prayer become the foundation of my life
and charity the fruit of that prayer.
Amen.
