Lord of compassion, You show us
that love is proven through service.
Open our eyes to those who are overlooked,
lonely, or in need today.
Soften our hearts so that we may respond generously,
without calculation or hesitation.
Teach us to serve with humility and joy,
knowing that when we care for others,
we encounter You present among us.
