Lord Jesus, the Gospel shows us that You rose early,
while it was still dark, to go to a deserted place to pray.
Teach us the necessity of silence and solitude.
Help us to prioritize our relationship with the Father
above the demands of the crowd.
May our work flow from our prayer, and may we find our strength
in the quiet moments we spend alone with you.
Amen.
