St. Benedict, father of monks, you taught
that prayer and work together sanctify the day.
Help me to bring rhythm and order into my own life —
time for prayer, time for labor, and time for rest.
Lord, may I never let busyness crowd out
my conversation with You.
Through the intercession of St. Benedict,
grant me the discipline to seek you first,
trusting that all else will find its proper place.
