Merciful Father, today we remember our beloved departed
and commend them to Your infinite compassion.
Receive those who have gone before us into the fullness
of Your presence, and bring comfort to all who grieve their absence.
For those whose names remain in our hearts, let memories
become blessings and tears become prayers of hope.
Strengthen our faith in the resurrection of Your Son, Jesus Christ,
and remind us that death does not have the final word.
May we one day rejoice together in Your eternal love.
