St. Elizabeth Ann Seton,
daughter of America and seeker of Truth,
you found your home in the Eucharist
despite great personal sacrifice.
We pray for all educators and for the growth
of faith in our nation.
Grant us the "mettle" to face our daily crosses
with Your same grace.
Teach us to see the hand of Providence in every trial
and to serve the Lord with a cheerful heart.
