O God, who has honored the Order of Carmel
with the special title of Your Blessed Mother Mary,
grant in Your mercy that we who keep her memory this day
may be shielded by her protection and be found
worthy to attain eternal joy.
Who lives and reigns with God the Father
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, world without end.
