O glorious St. John the Baptist,
you announced the coming of the Christ’s Kingdom
and prepared the way for Jesus
through the holy waters of Baptism.
Help me overcome all human vices
and proclaim my loyal obedience to Jesus.
Pray for us that we may be made worthy
of the promises of Christ.
