Grant, we ask You, O Almighty God,
that we who celebrate the festival of Saint Valentine,
Your martyr, may, by his intercession,
be delivered from all the evils that threaten us.
O blessed Valentine, holy Martyr for the faithful,
may the day of Judgment reveal to us
all your glorious merits.
May we be made your companions
at the right hand of the Great Judge,
and be united with you eternally in heaven.
