O God, You pierced the heart of St. Augustine
with the fire of Your love.
Grant that we, too, may hunger for Your truth
and never rest until we rest in You.
Heal our wandering hearts.
Make our desires holy, our minds wise,
and our lives a testimony to Your grace.
