Saint Andrew, first-called apostle,
you immediately followed Jesus
when He invited you to "come and see."
As we begin this holy season of Advent,
help us to respond with the same promptness
and enthusiasm to Christ's call in our lives.
Prepare our hearts to welcome the Prince of Peace
with joy and anticipation.
May this Advent be a time of spiritual renewal,
deeper prayer, and generous service to others.
Intercede for us that we might share
your missionary zeal in bringing others
to encounter Jesus.
Amen.
