Heavenly Father, You consoled the sorrowful heart
of Saint Monica and answered her persistent prayers
and tears with the conversion of her son.
We entrust to You all loved ones
who have drifted away from their faith.
Soften their hearts, open their eyes to Your glory,
and bring them home safely.
