Lord Jesus, You call us to be alert and watchful,
ready for Your coming at any moment.
In a world full of distractions and false securities,
help us to keep our focus on what truly matters.
May we live each day as if it were our last opportunity
to love, serve, and draw closer to You.
Keep us from spiritual complacency and routine,
always growing in faith, hope, and charity.
As we prepare for Advent, awaken in us a holy longing
for Your presence and a commitment to live
worthy of Your call.
