Lord, when the road grows difficult and discouragement creeps in,
remind me that You walk beside me even in the valley.
Strengthen my resolve not to abandon what is right
simply because it is hard.
Give me the endurance of the saints
who suffered far more than I and yet did not waver.
May my trials, united to Your Cross,
become a source of grace for myself and others.
Amen.
