O God, You gladden us by the yearly feast day
of Your Apostles Philip and James;
grant we ask You
that we who rejoice in their merits,
may be taught by their examples.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
Who lives and reigns with You
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one world without end.
