Dear Jesus, when You were transfigured on the mountaintop,
You revealed Your divinity to the three Apostles
who accompanied You.
You shone like the sun and the voice of the Father
said that You were His Beloved Son.
Peter asked to make tents for You, Moses, and Elijah.
He did not fully understand what was happening.
We ask You to bring all people closer to You,
and we especially ask that You pour Your grace
of understanding on all who are struggling
to understand Your plan in their lives.
Help us to surrender to You more deeply each day.
Give us the grace to grow in love for You at every opportunity.
Amen.
