O God, on this Holy Saturday,
we wait in silence and hope.
We remember Your descent into darkness,
Your rest in the tomb.
Grant us the strength to trust in Your promise
of resurrection, to find hope in the stillness,
and to await the joy of Easter morning.
Through Christ our Lord,
