O Lord, You united Saints Pontian and Hippolytus
even in imprisonment and death.
Heal the divisions within Your Church today,
and make us instruments of reconciliation.
Grant that we may suffer for truth
with courage, and forgive as You have forgiven,
always seeking unity in the Body of Christ.
