Saint Martin of Tours, soldier turned bishop,
you transformed your warrior spirit
into the service of the Prince of Peace.
On this day when we honor veterans,
we pray for all who have served in military conflict
and those who continue to serve.
Heal the wounds of war, comfort the grieving,
and provide for those in need.
Inspire leaders to seek peaceful solutions to conflicts
and help us all to be instruments of reconciliation
in our families and communities.
May your example guide us from division to unity,
from conflict to peace.
