O Lord Jesus Christ, You gave Saint Alphonsus
a burning love for You in the Holy Eucharist
and the courage to defend the faith
through his preaching and writings.
Grant us, through his intercession, the grace
to speak the truth with clarity, to love the poor,
and to trust in Your boundless mercy, now and always.
