Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mystical Rose,
make intercession for the Holy Church,
protect the Sovereign Pontiff,
help all those who invoke you in their necessities,
and since you are the ever Virgin Mary,
and Mother of the True God,
obtain for us from your most holy Son
the grace of keeping our faith, of sweet hope
in the midst of the bitterness of life, of burning charity,
and the precious gift of final perseverance.

Almighty God, during this Advent season,
kindle in every heart the true love of peace,
and guide with Your eternal wisdom
those who take counsel for the nations of the earth,
that in tranquility Your dominion may increase
until the earth is filled with Your love;

for having given us Mary most holy as our Mother,

From the cross You placed us all in her hands.
You gave her a great heart,
much wisdom and immense power.
May all mankind know her, pray to her!
May all permit themselves to be led by her to You,
the Savior of mankind!
I placed myself in her hands,
as You placed Yourself.
With this Mother I want to live now,
